SEC Fellow Leslie Boni; White Paper on Strategic FailsWhile many at the SEC downplayed the settlement failure issues, visting fellow Leslie Boni investigated the matter to great depths. Her report, as presented below, provides insight into what the SEC was aware of in 2004 regarding strategic failures in the equities and options markets. Professor Boni laid the groundwork for corrections and in response the Commission staff dragged their feet and set the integrity of the markets back decades in the process. Read this 2004 report thoroughly and ask why it has taken so long for the Commission to react.
